My research focuses on different aspects of plant pathogenic fungi including taxonomy, population biology, genetics and genomics. I mainly work with species and genera in the Ophiostoatales and Microascales (Ceratocystidaceae) and use these as the systems for pursuing various research questions such as species boundary and speciation, evolution of biological traits, genetics and genomics basis of fungal pathogenicity and host adaptation.
