Plant Genome Evolution & Polyploidy Symposium

The APSB Programme (Department of BGM and FABI) will be hosting a number of world-leading experts in the area of plant genome evolution and polyploidy at the University of Pretoria. This includes Prof. Yves Van de Peer and Prof. Dries Bonte (VIB and UGhent), Prof. James Leebens Mack (university of Georgia); as well as Prof. Pamela Soltis (University of Florida) and Prof. Doug Soltis (Distinguished Professor at the Florida Museum of Natural History). To take advantage of this shared expertise, A one-day Symposium will be held at the Plant Sciences Auditorium, University of Pretoria (Hillcrest/Main Campus) on Tuesday, 21 February 2021.
